Why can’t the Site Manager handle calls from
the public?

Never before has the public been so aware of its rights and it makes business sense to involve Environmental Health Officers and civic representatives before problems occur. Without such premptive courtesies, the public will have no hesitation in contacting the Media, MPs, councils and lobby groups to persue a grievance. Managing these problems takes time and commitment, neither of which Site Managers have as their priority is project delivery.
