Call centres are equipped to deal with high volumes of sales calls and as such do not have the relevant experience to give the quality time needed to members of the public who have issues of complaint.

ActionLines act as a replacement for call centres for community relations. The main difference between ourselves and call centres is that our phones are manned by professionals in public relations and are equipped to deal with complaints in a sympathetic and un-patronising manner. You will find that once a member of the public has had all the facts explained to them, and they feel listened to, they will no longer feel the need to pursue a complaint any further.
